Weather Woes

Saturday we got freezing rain and ice and Sunday we are expecting more so Cheryl, my pastor's wife, called and said church was being canceled today. I hate driving on ice so I was glad when I heard that. I'm wondering what the roads will be like on Monday. I noticed on Friday the city had put down brine to help with the ice so I'm hoping it won't be too bad getting to work. Dad has a doctor's appointment to start his last round of chemo at 8 am on Monday so I'm hoping the roads are clear by then. With my birthday being on Friday I hope this ice isn't my birthday storm. I usually get snow so I'm hoping for it this year too. Oh well, no point in worry about what I can't change.
